3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Davis Mills will make his first career start against the Panthers Thursday. Mills was forced into action last week after the injury to Tyrod Taylor (hamstring), and the rookie completed 8 of 18 passes for 102 yards with one touchdown and one interception in his first NFL regular-season action. The 22-year-old faces a much tougher test against the Panthers defense, which has allowed the eighth-fewest fantasy points per game to opposing signal-callers through the first two weeks. Mills flashed in limited playing time at Stanford- though he's not a recommended fantasy play in even the deepest of leagues given the tough matchup and limited weapons at his disposal.--Tim Capurso
