Diontae Johnson's Knee Injury Looking Better
3 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Diontae Johnson (knee) sustained what looked to be a significant injury at the very end of Sunday's loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, but according to head coach Mike Tomlin, the knee injury is "looking better, not to be confused with great." It is unclear whether or not this is something that will cause him to miss some time, so fantasy managers should take a wait-and-see approach when it comes to their Week 3 lineups. If Johnson is held out of action, Chase Claypool and JuJu Smith-Schuster would see significant increases in fantasy value, as they would likely get all the targets they could handle. James Washington would be in line for some more playing time and could be an interesting waiver-wire acquisition if Johnson were to be ruled out.
