3 years agoHouston Astros starter Framber Valdez twirled seven shutout innings with six strikeouts against the Angels on Monday. Valdez (11-5) endured two mediocre starts previous to this sparkling performance and now has a 2.82 ERA over his last seven starts. Valdez has struggled with his control at times and has walked 10 hitters over his last 18 innings pitched. Valdez has allowed only 10 home runs through 123 innings pitched this season but control issues have held him back from being fantasy elite.--Joey C - RotoBaller
