3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Marco Gonzales earned his ninth win of the season Tuesday, throwing six innings and allowing two runs on four hits and a walk with three strikeouts against the Oakland Athletics. Both runs against Gonzales came off solo home runs. Gonzales has a 5-0 record over his last seven starts, and he's allowed more than three earned runs in just three starts out of 23 this season. Gonzales is a consistent, reliable option in fantasy, though his 98 strikeouts in 130 1/3 innings on the year limit his upside.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
