Eduardo Rodriguez Fades After Dominant Start
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez got off to a strong start Tuesday, setting down the first eight New York Mets he faced, but he lost command of the strike zone after that, finishing with two runs allowed on five hits and three walks in 4 1/3 innings. He struck out five batters and took a no-decision in the 6-3 victory. Rodriguez has endured an up-and-down season, but he had just appeared to get on track with three quality starts in his last four entering this contest. He's a shaky play in his next matchup, which is expected to come against the New York Yankees.
