3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Luis Patino will start Wednesday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. He was initially scheduled to start Friday's contest versus the Miami Marlins, but his start was pushed up to Wednesday. The 21-year-old owns a 4.73 ERA, 1.35 WHIP, and a 69:28 K: BB across 70 1/3 innings in 2021. He will be on five days rest as the right-hander hasn't pitched since last Friday. Patino struck out three over 2 2/3 scoreless innings in his previous outing against the Blue Jays. Fantasy managers in deep-league formats can use Patino as a streamer but should temper expectations against a loaded Blue Jays offense.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
