3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton isn't starting on Wednesday against the Chicago Cubs and right-hander Kyle Hendricks. Buxton is batting .286 with a .330 on-base percentage, 14 home runs, and six stolen bases in 209 plate appearances. Instead, Nick Gordon is starting in center field and hitting sixth against the Cubs. The 25-year-old is batting .251 with a .309 on-base percentage, three home runs, and nine stolen bases in 181 plate appearances this season.
