3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Alex Colome barely managed to pick up his 15th save of the season Wednesday against the Cubs. Colome allowed a leadoff double, induced a strikeout, then surrendered an RBI single. The veteran reliever yielded a walk, RBI groundout, and another single before bearing down to get the third out via a strikeout. Colome has been a dependable closer in the second half of the season- as evidenced by his 2-0 record, 3.07 ERA, and 13 saves in 29 1/3 innings pitched. Fantasy managers can continue to count on Colome for saves, despite the somewhat shaky performance.--Tim Capurso
