Kyle Freeland Logs A Quality Start On Thursday
3 years agoColorado Rockies starting pitcher Kyle Freeland took a no-decision on Thursday when he allowed three runs on eight hits with five strikeouts and one walk over six innings in a 7-5 loss to the Dodgers. Freeland did a solid job limiting the Dodgers on Thursday. He scattered eight hits and three runs over his six innings and managed to strike out five. All three earned runs against him came in the second inning with a two-run single from Corey Seager causing the most damage. This was the 28-year-old left-hander's second straight quality start as well. He now owns a 4.50 ERA, 1.41 WHIP, and 102:34 K/BB ratio over 114 innings (22 starts). He'll take on the Nationals at home in his next turn.
