Charlie Morton Strikes Out Eight In Loss
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Charlie Morton has unfortunately not received much run support whenever he is on the mound. He's gotten a no-decision or a loss in nine of his 18 quality starts. On Thursday, Morton went six innings, five hits allowed, three earned runs, two walks, and eight strikeouts in the 6-4 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Morton exited after giving up one run, but left two base runners on that eventually scored and were charged to him. Despite having some tough luck, Morton is posting a 3.53 ERA and is a solid streaming option and DFS choice whenever he takes the mound.
