3 years agoMartin Truex Jr. was one of the more consistent drivers during the first three races of the chase. He finished fourth at Darlington, seventh at Bristol while winning at Richmond. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver has six top-ten results in his previous seven races at Las Vegas. Furthermore, that includes a win and an average finish of 6.57. That ranks fourth among all active drivers. Also, his speed later in races improved from earlier in the season. As track temperatures drop, Truex Jr. should be able to find better downforce and lift. That means speed as well. The No. 19 will be one to watch on Sunday night. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
