3 years agoHouston Texans quarterback Davis Mills completed 19 of 28 passes for 168 yards and one touchdown in Thursday's 24-9 loss to the Panthers. Mills took four sacks and was under duress on several more plays but managed to take care of the football, completing an impressive 67.9 percent of his passes in his first start against a tough defense. The rookie mostly locked onto wideout Brandin Cooks, who accounted for 112 of his total yards, though he also looked Anthony Miller's way for a score in the red zone. Mills won't be on the starting radar in Week 4 against the Bills.--Tim Capurso
