Tevin Coleman Unlikely To Succeed In Week 3
3 years agoNew York Jets running back Tevin Coleman was penciled in as the No. 1 back for this offense heading into the season. However, he has not exceeded 24 yards on the ground in either contest. His chances in New York are quickly running out with younger and more promising options behind him. Coleman saw five carries on the ground last week and it's unlikely going to increase versus Denver in Week 3. The Jets have Ty Johnson and Michael Carter in the mix as well. They will likely ride with the hot hand, so it's a frustrating situation for fantasy managers. Coleman should be on the bench in fantasy leagues until he proves himself.
