3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nathan Eovaldi simply didn't have it against the New York Yankees Friday, giving up seven runs on seven hits and two walks in 2 2/3 innings. He struck out no batters and took his ninth loss of the season. This qualifies as the worst outing of the season for Eovaldi, and it's the first time this year he has failed to strike out a batter. It's quite a shock for fantasy managers who have come to rely on the solid right-hander. He still carries a solid 3.88 ERA and 1.20 WHIP for the season, and should be counted on going forward despite this performance.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
