Charlie Blackmon Knocks In A Run On Friday
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Charlie Blackmon went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, an RBI, and a strikeout in a 7-2 loss to the Giants on Friday. Blackmon was one of five Rockies to notch multiple hits in the contest but they were only able to muster two runs out of 11 hits as a club. Blackmon singled in Raimel Tapia in the bottom of the first inning for his lone RBI of the contest. The 35-year-old outfielder is slashing a respectable .269/.347/.16 on the season to go along with 13 home runs, 78 RBI, and three stolen bases over 490 at-bats.
