Tua Tagovailoa Lands On Injured Reserve
3 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) has been placed on injured reserve, meaning that he will miss at least the next three games due to the broken ribs that he sustained in Week 2. Tagovailoa had already been ruled out for Sunday's matchup against Las Vegas, but he will now be sidelined vs. the Colts and Bucs, as well. Miami's current plan is to have Jacoby Brissett run the show under center, although he offers little by way of the fantasy value that Tagovailoa does. The upsides of DeVante Parker, Will Fuller V, Jaylen Waddle, and Mike Gesicki stand to stagnate so long as Brissett, and not Tagovailoa, is throwing passes. The next opportunity that Tagovailoa has to suit up is Week 6 against the Jaguars in London.
