3 years agoThe Cincinnati Reds placed starting pitcher Wade Miley (neck) on the 10-day injured list on Saturday due to a neck strain. The move was retroactive to Wednesday. Miley has turned in some quality numbers for both the Reds and fantasy managers in his second season in Cincinnati. The veteran has pitched to a 3.37 ERA, a 3.96 FIP, 125 strikeouts, and 50 walks in 163 innings this season. Reliever Cionel Perez was called up to take Miley's place on the active roster. Perez is a reliever, however, so it'll be worth monitoring to see how the Reds replace the veteran in the rotation for the time being.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
