Dillon Tate Earns Shaky Save Saturday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles relief pitcher Dillon Tate was the choice to finish the game against the Texas Rangers Saturday, and he did successfully earn the save, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in 1 1/3 innings of work. He struck out one batter. It's Tate's third save in 60 appearances this season. Tate has not had a particularly strong season, with a 4.59 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, and 49 strikeouts in 64 2/3 innings. This is a bullpen to avoid entirely if possible, but fantasy managers should look to Alexander Wells if forced to choose an Orioles reliever.
