Clyde Edwards-Helaire Goes For 100 Yards In Week 3
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed the ball 17 times for 100 yards in a Week 3 loss versus the Los Angeles Chargers. He also chipped in with two receptions for nine yards and a touchdown. That was the good news, the bad news is that for a second straight week, CEH fumbled a ball on the ground. Despite the fumble in the second quarter, head coach Andy Reid decided to stick with his man and he was able to put together his best performance on the young season. Managers should note that backup running back Darrel Williams saw a season-high seven rush attempts in this contest, but shouldn't be worried about Edwards-Helaire being in the doghouse for the time being and should consider insuring CEH with Williams just to be safe. Moving forward, CEH will face a tough Philadelphia Eagles run defense in Week 4, but should be utilized as a RB2.
