Derek Carr Overcomes Odds In Overtime Win
3 years agoLas Vegas Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for 386 yards on 26 of 43 passing with two touchdowns and one interception in Sundays' wild 31-28 overtime win over the Miami Dolphins. Like in the first two games of the season, the 30-year-old signal-caller was slow to start the game but found his groove in the second quarter en route to another wild finish for Vegas. While Carr has propelled the Raiders to their first 3-0 start in nearly two decades, he has yet to completely shut the door on opposing teams and is still a better fit in two-QB leagues.
