Jacoby Brissett Delays The Inevitable
3 years agoMiami Dolphins quarterback Jacoby Brissett looked awful when he was forced into action during the blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 2. The injury to Tua Tagovailoa (ribs) means Brissett will be asked to be under center for a few weeks. He did all he could against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 3. Brissett completed 32-of-49 passing attempts for 215 yards in the loss. He also rushed seven times for 37 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Brissett was able to rally the offense and force this game into overtime. Sadly, it wasn't enough and the Raiders ended up taking the victory. Brissett was a bit better than expected, but there isn't much upside for him. He'll remain a QB2 against the Indianapolis Colts next week.
