3 years agoNew York Yankees infielder DJ LeMahieu went 2-for-4 with a walk and an RBI in Sunday's win over the Red Sox. LeMahieu rapped a couple of singles, one in the first inning and another in the fifth, with the latter base hit scoring a run for New York. The veteran infielder still hasn't hit for much power but owns the second-highest batting average of any calendar month in September, along with 13 runs scored atop the Yankee lineup. LeMahieu has also shown a most patient eye at the plate, as evidenced by his 12.4 percent walk rate and 10.3 percent strikeout rate in the month. It's been an up and down season for LeMahieu, but he's finishing strong for his fantasy managers.--Tim Capurso
