Eduardo Rodriguez Solid Through Five Innings
3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Eduardo Rodriguez was at the top of his game for the first four innings against the New York Yankees Sunday night, but he faltered in the fifth inning, allowing two runs to cross. All told it was a solid performance, as he gave up two runs on six hits and one walk in five innings with eight strikeouts. He took a no-decision in the 6-3 loss. Rodriguez has allowed two earned runs or fewer in four of his five September starts, with two quality starts in that time. His 4.93 ERA looks worse than it should, but Rodriguez stands to be a solid fantasy option in 2022 once again.
