James White Suffers Hip Subluxation, Out Indefinitely
3 years agoNew England Patriots running back James White (hip) will be sidelined indefinitely after undergoing further testing on Monday. White suffered a hip subluxation, so a stint on the injured reserve list is the likely outcome moving forward. In White's absence, rookie Rhamondre Stevenson, who was impressive in the preseason, could be in for some more action after getting just two touches through the first three weeks of the regular season. Having said that, Damien Harris will continue to serve as the lead back, and J.J. Taylor will likely see increased playing time if the coaching staff continues to shelter the rookie running back. Moving forward, the only reliable fantasy asset in the New England backfield is Harris considering he is the clear No.1 option and has a predictable workload on a weekly basis. Taylor and Stevenson can be stashed in deep formats, but they need a lot to unfold before they have any sort of starting lineup appeal.
