3 years agoColorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story went 1-for-3 with a single, two runs scored, two walks, and a strikeout in a 5-4 loss to the Nationals on Monday. Story has a solid day at the dish, reaching three times and scoring a pair of runs. Monday's effort snapped an 0-for-9 streak for the 28-year-old shortstop. It's been an underwhelming season, as far his Story's standards go, as he's slashing just .245/.324/.465 with 23 home runs, 73 RBI, and 19 stolen bases over 510 at-bats. He could be playing his final games with the Rockies over the coming week as he's set to become a free agent this winter and should command plenty of attention on the open market.--Jon Mathisen - RotoBaller
