Curtis Samuel's Return Looming, Will Practice Wednesday
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Curtis Samuel (groin) is eligible to come off Injured Reserve this week, and according to head coach Ron Rivera, Samuel could return to action in Week 4 if he has a good few days of practice. "We'll see how it goes Wednesday. Our offensive coaches are fired up to see where he is. If he has a good day Wednesday, we'll progress and go forward." Samuel could potentially be in the lineup for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons, but it still remains a wait-and-see type of approach for the 25-year-old. If he were to be active, it may be best for fantasy managers to leave him on the bench for a week to get a feel for his role in the offense. Going forward, the speedy Samuel has WR3 upside considering his projected significant role in the offense.
