Tyler Anderson Strong On Short Rest
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Tyler Anderson returned on short rest to make Tuesday's start against the Oakland Athletics, and he came through with four strong innings, allowing one run on two hits. He struck out two and did not walk a batter. Despite not qualifying for a win, it's a strong bounce-back outing for Anderson after allowing nine runs in his previous start. He now has a 4.41 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 134 strikeouts in 165 1/3 innings this season. Fantasy managers may get one more start from Anderson this year.
