3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Drew Rasmussen (4-1) allowed one hit and no walks while striking out two over five scoreless innings during Wednesday's 7-0 victory over the Houston Astros. The Rays right-hander was impressive once again and picked up his fourth win of the season. He cruised through five innings and didn't allow a base runner until the fifth frame. The 26-year-old fired 54 pitches, landing 42 for strikes. He finished the season strong, and had allowed one earned run or less each in seven of his last eight starts. Overall, Rasmussen finishes the 2021 campaign with a 2.84 ERA, 1.08 WHIP, and 73:25 K: BB across 76 innings.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
