3 years agoMiami Marlins outfielder Jesus Sanchez (hamstring) exited Thursday's game against the New York Mets with right hamstring tightness. He went 1-for-2 before being removed in the bottom of the third inning during Thursday's game. The severity of Sanchez's injury is unknown at this time, and he's considered day-to-day. Bryan De La Cruz replaced him in the lineup and would see an uptick in at-bats while Sanchez is sidelined. His next chance to return will be Friday against the Philadelphia Phillies. The 23-year-old rookie is slashing .249/.317/.489 with 14 home runs, 36 RBI, 27 runs scored, and 20 walks over 249 plate appearances in 2021. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
