3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Ryan Yarbrough (9-7) allowed three earned runs on four hits and one walk while striking out three across 4 2/3 innings during Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Houston Astros. He was tagged with his seventh loss of the season. The southpaw's biggest mistake was surrendering a three-run blast to Astros shortstop Carlos Correa in the fourth inning. Yarbrough has lost three of his last four appearances and owned an abysmal 9.00 ERA across 21 innings in September. Overall, Yarbrough finishes the 2021 season with a 5.11 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, and 117:27 K: BB over 155 innings.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
