Alexander Wells Ends Season With Win Thursday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Alexander Wells improved to 2-3 in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Red Sox. Wells pitched 6 innings, allowing one run on three hits (including a solo home run) and two walks with two strikeouts. The 24-year-old had a poor 6.75 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and 13.2% strikeout rate through 42 2/3 IP this season, but it was nice to see him have a good final start. At this point, Wells offers little fantasy value, even in dynasty leagues.
