3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies catcher J.T. Realmuto will start Friday's game against the Miami Marlins on the bench. Realmuto is enjoying another productive season, hitting .265 with a .346 on-base percentage, 17 home runs, and 13 stolen bases in 532 plate appearances. Andrew Knapp is starting behind the plate instead and batting eighth. In 148 plate appearances this season, the 29-year-old is batting .156 with a .218 on-base percentage and two home runs.
