3 years agoChicago White Sox second baseman Cesar Hernandez isn't in Saturday's lineup for a matchup with the Detroit Tigers and right-hander Matt Manning. The veteran is batting .226 with a .305 on-base percentage, three home runs, and a stolen base in 213 plate appearances since joining the White Sox from the Cleveland Indians in a mid-season trade. It'll be Leury Garcia hitting ninth and starting at second. Garcia is batting .270 with a .338 on-base percentage, five home runs, and six stolen bases in 467 plate appearances this season.
