3 years agoTampa Bay Rays catcher Mike Zunino went 3-for-5 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 12-2 win over the Yankees. He took Yankees pitcher Jordan Montgomery deep in the third inning to give the Rays a 7-1 lead. It was his 33rd long ball of the season, good for 26th overall in the league and second among all catchers behind Kansas City Royals backstop Salvador Perez (48). The 30-year-old is slashing .219/.305/.565 with 33 home runs, 62 RBI, and 64 runs scored in 2021. Zunino has a lop-sided slash line, but his elite power makes him a solid option two-catcher formats in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
