3 years agoThe Los Angeles Angels have recalled starting pitcher Reid Detmers from Triple-A Salt Lake, the team announced. Detmers will start Sunday's game against the Seattle Mariners after the team shut down Shohei Ohtani for the season. He's made four starts for the Angels earlier this season before landing on the injured list and being demoted to the minors on September 23. He owns a 7.11 ERA with 17 strikeouts and 1.68 WHIP over 19 innings pitched. He hasn't shown much thus far in his young career and should be left on the waiver wire in all leagues.--Spencer Seguin - RotoBaller
