3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (calf) expects to miss a "couple of weeks." The signal-caller made the revelation during a post-game interview session with reporters, and it came after he was prematurely forced out of Sunday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Fortunately, Garoppolo doesn't believe the ailment is related to his Achilles, although he will need to undergo further testing to reveal the severity of the injury. In the meantime, Trey Lance, who came in for relief in Week 4 and finished with 157 yards and two touchdowns along with seven carries for 41 yards, should continue to navigate the offense.
