George Kittle Held To 40 Yards In Week 4 Loss
3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle caught four passes for 40 yards during the team's 28-21 Week 4 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Kittle saw a healthy target share, racking up a total of 11 targets but only managing to haul in four without a touchdown. The former All-Pro tight end has been mightily disappointing based on his top-three fantasy tight end value that he was associated with during drafts. However, it's a long season, and Trey Lance could soon be starting under center based on Jimmy Garoppolo's calf injury and overall performance through the first four weeks of the season. This change could spur Kittle's usage, so remain patient but consider Kittle a low-end TE1 entering Week 5 against the Arizona Cardinals.
