Jorge Polanco On The Rise Heading Into 2022
3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco ended his excellent 2021 campaign with a home run and three RBI in his team's win over Kansas City on the season's final day. Polanco slashed .269/.323/.503 with a career-high 33 homers and 98 RBI, 97 runs scored, and 11 stolen bases. Ankle injuries sapped Polanco of his power during the shortened 2020 season, though he had no such trouble in that department this year, posting career bests in barrel rate, exit velocity, launch angle, and hard-hit rate. A late-round discount this year, Polanco will see his ADP rise quite a bit heading into 2022.
