O.J. Howard Off To A Disappointing Start
3 years agoTampa Bay Buccaneers tight end O.J. Howard has been a fantasy disappointment through four games played in 2021. The Alabama product has flashed his ability at times throughout his five-year career, most notably in 2020, as he looked to be on-pace for a strong year before rupturing his Achilles tendon. Howard played less than 20 percent of the snaps in each of the first three games this year, though that percentage jumped to 65 with Rob Gronkowski (ribs) sidelined against the Patriots. Still, Howard was unable to take advantage of the increase in playing time, totaling just one target to Cameron Brate's six. Seemingly third on the depth chart, Howard's path to fantasy relevancy in Tampa Bay seems as difficult as ever.
