3 years agoAtlanta Falcons running back Cordarrelle Patterson draws a favorable matchup in Week 5 against the Jets. New York's defense has allowed the most fantasy points per game to running backs this year- and Patterson has been rolling lately, as he has exceeded the 100-yard scrimmage mark in each of the last two games, scoring three touchdowns last week. Despite his strong play, the 30-year-old has yet to play more than 42 percent of the snaps in a game this year, though that could change this week with Calvin Ridley (personal) and Russell Gage (ankle) sidelined. Patterson is in the RB2 conversation, particularly in PPR formats, as he should continue to have a rock-solid role as a pass-catcher.--Tim Capurso
