3 years agoDenver Broncos running back Melvin Gordon III (leg) is likely to play in Sunday's game against the Steelers. Gordon has been dealing with a lower leg contusion, which kept him off the practice field Wednesday- though he was able to participate in a limited fashion Thursday. It sounds as though the veteran, who toughed out the injury last week against Baltimore to the tune of 56 rushing yards on just nine attempts, will be out there for a tough matchup with Pittsburgh's run defense. Gordon should be viewed on the RB2/3 border- as the Broncos continue to deploy a near-even split between him and rookie Javonte Williams.--Tim Capurso
