3 years agoAlex Bowman stands 12th in the playoff chase and starts 12th on Sunday at Charlotte. He is 52 points out of a playoff spot which means Bowman would likely have to win and need a ton of miraculous help on Sunday. Bowman does have three top-ten results and an average finish of 4.67 on the ROVAL. The Hendricks Motorsports Racing driver has contended at every race on this track. Again, the problem is the math. Bowman likely would need stage wins or be near the front every stage to have a chance. The No. 48 car likely dug too deep of a hole to climb out and the only way to advance may be to win.--Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
