3 years agoMinnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook (ankle) is a game-time decision for Sunday's clash with the Lions, according to head coach Mike Zimmer. After failing to practice on Wednesday and Thursday, Cook took limited reps on Friday. Even if Cook plays, it looks like he won't have a full workload. In fact, the Vikings can feel more than comfortable leaning on Alexander Mattison, who racked up 171 scrimmage yards when Cook was inactive in Week 3. Concerns surrounding Cook's health and usage this week drop him into the RB2 territory for the time being, but it would not be shocking to see Minnesota err on the side of caution and make Cook inactive in a favorable matchup against Detroit.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBaller
