3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson (finger) is hoping to return for the Week 10 matchup against Green Bay. Although this would be the best scenario possible, mainly since he had three pins inserted into his middle finger, fantasy managers should come to terms with the idea that he could be out longer. The veteran sustained an impact fracture during the Thursday Night Football loss to the Los Angeles Rams, opening the door for Geno Smith to play and finish with 131 yards and a touchdown on 10-for-17 passing. Smith also had 23 rushing yards off three carries, and while he also threw an interception, it was a welcome showing for a signal-caller who's had his fair share of struggles over the year. Nevertheless, Smith still has a long way to go before he's considered a trustworthy fantasy signal-caller, but he has appeal in deeper formats moving ahead.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
