3 years agoWith four of the five bouts on the main card going to a decision, Chris Gutierrez earned the first nod of Saturday night in a split decision over Felipe Colares. Though Gutierrez had two judges rule in favor of him 30-27, one judge actually gave a nod to Colares 28-29. Statistically, it was not even close, with Gutierrez landing 96 significant strikes (115 total strikes) compared to Colares' 41 significant strikes. The judges were called on for just the second time in five fights, handing the 30-year-old bantamweight his second straight win and giving him a six-fight unbeaten streak overall.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
