3 years agoSan Francisco 49ers rookie quarterback Trey Lance completed 15 of 29 pass attempts for 192 yards and an interception, adding 16 carries for 89 yards on the ground during Sunday's 17-10 Week 5 loss against the Arizona Cardinals. Lance failed to score a touchdown in his debut and threw an interception, getting stood up on a goal-line rushing attempt and facing continuous pressure in the pocket. The rookie was impressive as a ball carrier, using his speed and size to average 5.5 YPC. The 49ers will head into their Bye Week on a three-game losing streak with no promises that Lance will return under center for their return in Week 7 against the Indianapolis Colts.--Matt MacKay - RotoBaller
