Kadarius Toney Possibly Injured After Premature Week 5 Exit
3 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Kadarius Toney (leg) had an eventful performance during the Week 5 loss to the Cowboys. After Kenny Golladay (knee) and Saquon Barkley (ankle) exited the outing and did not return, the former Florida Gator stepped up his game to go on and finish with 189 yards off 10 catches (13 targets). However, a reckless punch during a post-play scuffle caused him to be ejected. Toney's immediate future for the Week 6 bout against the Rams was already in question due to a potential suspension, but the wideout may have suffered a leg injury as well, which further complicates his availability. Nonetheless, fantasy managers will want to monitor the rookie's status moving forward, especially since Barkley, Golladay, Darius Slayton (hamstring), and Sterling Shepard (hamstring) may not suit up against Los Angeles.
