3 years agoCarolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said he's "hopeful" star running back Christian McCaffrey (hamstring) will return for Sunday's Week 6 game against the Minnesota Vikings. Last week, he was a limited participant in practice but was ultimately ruled out ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Eagles. The 25-year-old's status for Week 6 will be determined based on his participation level in practice this week. CMC has rushed for 201 yards on 51 attempts and one touchdown while catching 16-of-17 targets for 163 yards over three games in 2021. Chuba Hubbard will be the Panthers' primary running back if McCaffrey is unable to suit up. Stay tuned for further updates.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
