Quintez Cephus Suffers Broken Collarbone
3 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Quintez Cephus (collarbone) suffered a broken collarbone in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings. Cephus will undergo surgery and is facing a three-month absence, so his season is likely over. He was one of the lone bright spots of the offense up to this point, so the Lions will have to move forward without their top wide receiver. T.J. Hockenson and Amon-Ra St. Brown could handle an even greater target share without Cephus, as the rookie has seen eight targets in back-to-back games. St. Brown has some appeal in deeper leagues strictly based on volume, so he could be worth a bench stash as he will likely have a significant role to play for the Jared Goff-led offense.
