Michael Pittman Jr. Flashes During Week 5 Loss
3 years agoIn the third quarter, Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. caught six of seven targets for 89 yards and a touchdown, including a 42-yard touchdown reception. Still, his elite play was diminished by the team's inability to control drives and the defense allowing Lamar Jackson to mount a 31-25 comeback win in overtime on Monday Night Football. Nevertheless, the second-year wideout has been the most targeted player on the Colts for the last four weeks, creating consistent WR2 value with WR1 upside. Pittman should be started as a WR2 with WR1 upside against a gritty Houston Texans defense at home in Week 6.
